What Does Seeking First The Kingdom Mean?

This morning, I reflected, once again, on my favorite passage. Actually, truth be known, GOD brought to mind my favorite passage, once again.

Now, the amount of HEALING to be found in this passage is like an Ocean of Healing. What I mean by this, is that you can read this passage over and over, throughout your entire life, only to find new spiritual medicine with each and every read.

The passage comes out of Matt 6:33, and states “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” The Greek word for seek here is to crave or inquire, and the word for first is principal, so making it plain, Jesus is telling us to make our principal cravings and inquires, the things of GOD. Imagine that for a moment…making your principal cravings and inquires the things of GOD.

Some of you are already beginning to feel the shift, and that shift, is like being washed, by the Oceans of Healing that come from fixing our eyes on a new DESIRE, which is Christ, but to make things even better, Christ promises us a blessing when we make our Principal Desires HIM…and that blessing is “and all these things will be added to you.”

So what are these things? Good question! These things are all the things that are occupying your mind, and making you worry.

So don’t fret; don’t worry; and don’t be anxious, INSTEAD make your principal craving and inquire the things of GOD, and watch the GOD WHO owns all things give them to you, at the right time. Hooah!
